Bishnoi seeks disqualification of five MLAs

Chandigarh, Dec 9: Describing it as "unconstitutional and illegal" and "in violation" of the Anti-Defection Law, Haryana Janhit Congress supremo Kuldeep Bishnoi today sought disqualification of five party MLAs, who had joined the Congress from state assembly.
He also challenged the Speaker's decision on the members.
Bishnoi represented by his lawyer Satyapal Jain, filed five separate petitions before Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Harmohinder Singh Chatha here seeking disqualification of the five MLA's from the state assembly for allegedly violating the 10th schedule of the Constitution pertaining to Anti-Defection Law.
However, the Speaker was out of station and therefore, his secretary accepted petitions filed by Bishnoi.
