CHANDIGARH: Bharatiya Janata Party secretary and joint incharge of Punjab and Chandigarh Kiran Ghai met office-bearers to take stock of the party’s preparations for ensuring Satya Pal Jain's victory on Sunday.
She also attended a Sunderkand Path in Sector 22. She looked at the working of public contact campaign run by members of booth-level committees.
The party intends to take out two padyatras daily, through which booth committee office-bearers and members will meet voters. BJP mahila morcha will hold a women’s convention on April 4 at the Sector-28 community centre from 2-5 pm. The morcha’s national president Kiran Maheshwari will also attend it.
The BJP national secretary later addressed a massive meeting of party workers at Chandigarh state BJP office Kamalam on Sunday and said that the party’s victory was certain as Congress was in a bad shape all over the country.
