CHANDIGARH, FEBRUARY 18: THE UT BJP today accused the UPA government at the Centre of ignoring city's development issues and forgetting the promises that Congress had made during the last Parliamentary and MC polls.
Large-scale demolitions, rising prices of essential commodities and the fast deteriorating law and order situation are becoming a way of life in Chandigarh, said former MP and BJP's national executive member Satya Pal Jain.
Addressing a press conference, he said the Congress was not fulfilling its promise of regularising need-based internal changes in houses and stopping the demolitions.
