S.P.Pandey ,Chandigarh April 2, 2009: Actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha stopped at Chandigarh to meet BJP state President Mrs Kamala Sharma, its General Secretary Mr Sanjoy Tandon, vice President and former Chandigarh mayor Mr Kewal Krishna Adival, and former state president Yashpal Mahajan to discuss poll preparedness of the party. Later he left for Jammu.
He appealed to all citizens of Chandigarh, whether from Bihar or any place in India, to vote for BJP candidates so that Mr L K Advani becomes Prime Minister to lead a strong nationalist government this time. He gave his best wishes for Mr Satya Pal Jain nad expressed confidence that BJP will win Chandigarh seat this time. He assured the BJP leaders that he will visit Chandigarh to campaign for Mr Jain before polling date.
