Monday, 19 January 2009, CHANDIGARH: Satya Pal Jain, former MP and senior leader of BJP Chandigarh has been declared as the BJP candidate on Monday for the coming Lok Sabha election from Chandigarh Parliamentary Constituency.
According to press statement issued on Monday, Yash Pal Mahajan, former President of BJP Chandigarh and the party's election In-charge of the Chandigarh Parliamentary Constituency said that the central leadership of BJP has fielded. He said that Jain will arrive in the city on Tuesday morning by Shatabadi at the Railway Station Chandigarh where thousands of BJP workers will warmly receive him.
