12 Oct 2008, CHANDIGARH: Mahatma Gandhi, 80 years back, had called upon the people of the nation to boycott foreign clothes and wear khadi. But with time, there has been a change in the mindset of people in general and politicians in particular, who are drifting away from the tradition of wearing it.
... Satya Pal Jain, senior BJP leader and incharge of the party's Himachal affairs, said failure to follow the message of swadeshi movement in the past years had led to the present scenario. He said the new generation of leaders had its own style.
