Shimla, August 6: In case the government does not register an FIR and order CBI investigation into the birthday bash of former minister G.S. Bali to the CBI, the BJP would seek intervention of the High Court to ensure action against the guilty.

The BJP said though it doubted the genuineness of the plea of three Congress MLAs from the tribal seats in seeking early Assembly elections, the party was prepared for elections in November.
Satpal Jain said it appeared the three MLAs had moved court so that the Congress gets political mileage but the BJP would not allow that. "When their own party is in power there was no need for the three MLAs from Kinnaur, Lahaul-Spiti and Bharmour to move court as the Chief Minister can recommend the holding of early elections to the Election Commission of India," he remarked. ...
