CHANDIGARH, JUNE 19: The Bhartiya Janata Party led by Mr Yash Pal Mahajan, president of the local unit and Mr Satya Pal Jain, national convener of the legal cell, today presented a memorandum addressed to Mr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, President of India, through Mr R.K.Rao, Deputy Commissioner, in connection with the "unprecedented" price hike.
The memorandum was submitted as a part of the decision taken by the NDA for staging 'dharnas' and holding demonstrations at all district headquarters. It was pointed out that during the Congress rule there have been at least three hikes in prices of essential commodities. ...
