Satya Pal Jain: HC judgement in HJC defector MLAs' case will stregthen Anti-Defection movement
Satya Pal Jain, All India Incharge, Legal & Legislative Cell BJP, in
discussion on 'Prime Debate' on Day & Night News channel on 20
December, 2011 regarding the issues arising out of the landmark
judgement of a Division Bench of the Punjab & Haryana High Court in
the HJC defector MLAs' matter, wherein the Hon'ble Court directed the
Speaker, Haryana Vidhan Sabha to decide the disqualification petitions
filed by Sh. Kuldeep Bishnoi against the 5 HJC defector MLAs by
30-4-2011 and directed that, till the decisions of the said petitions,
the 5 defector MLAs would be considered 'unattached', allotted a
separate seats in the Vidhan Sabha & would not hold any office.
He said that this historic judgement would strengthen the Anti-Defection movement going on in the country.
