Cong misusing CBI: Jain

Shimla, July 24: Convener of the National Legal Cell of the BJP Satya Pal Jain accused the UPA regime of politicising the CBI against its political opponents, a negative trend which will prove harmful in the long run.

Addressing a press conference here today while relinquishing the responsibility of in charge of the BJP affairs in Himachal, Jain said the Congress had set a wrong precedent by using the CBI for its political motives as everyone would have to suffer on this account. “Law should take its own course and there should be no political interference in the functioning of independent agencies like the CBI, which is in national interest,” he remarked.

Jain said his party would try to resolve important issues by filing PIL in non-BJP ruled states by reaching out to legal forums right up to the block level.“Though I have yet to take charge as convener of the National Legal Cell of the party, we are keen to set up BJP legal cells right up to block level in income tax, sales tax, district courts or any other such institution,” he said.

He said he would travel all over the country after assuming office so that link could be established with lawyers and retired judiciary officers to involve them in public issues. “Where the BJP is in power we will try to look for solutions by making representations and in non-BJP ruled states we will file PILs to seek reprieve,” he said.

Jain said his tenure as party in charge was very satisfying as everyone worked unitedly in the interest of the party. “In case the BJP works unitedly the way it did in the past three years, there is no reason why it cannot ensure the defeat of the Congress again,” he said.

शिमला, 24 जुलाई (निस)। भाजपा विधि प्रकोष्ठ के नवनियुक्त राष्ट्रीय प्रभारी एवं हिमाचल प्रदेश भाजपा के पूर्व प्रभारी सतपाल जैन ने कहा है कि पार्टी पूरे देश में ब्लॉक स्तर पर लीगल सैल का गठन करेगी। इतना ही नहीं इनकम टेक्स व सेल टेक्स के लिए बनी छोटी अदालतों तक लीगल सैल का गठन करना उनकी प्राथमिकता रहेगी।

उन्होंने कहा कि गुजरात के गृह राज्य मंत्री अमित शाह के खिलाफ सीबीआई की चार्जशीट को जल्दबाजी में दाखिल किया गया है। ... केंद्र की यूपीए सरकार सीबीआई का दुरुपयोग कर रही है और ऐसी परंपरा को शुरू करना सही नहीं है। सतपाल जैन शनिवार को यहां पत्रकार वार्ता को संबोधित कर रहे थे।

उन्होंने कहा कि केंद्रीय नेतृत्व ने उनको जो जिम्मेदारी सौंपी है, उस पर खरा उतरने का पूरा प्रयास करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि इससे पूर्व उन्होंने उत्तराखंड और फिर हिमाचल प्रदेश के भाजपा प्रभारी के तौर पर अपने दायित्वों का निर्वहन पूरी निष्ठा से निभाने का प्रयास किया है। अब जब उनको राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर विधि प्रकोष्ठ का जिम्मा सौंपा गया है, तो इस पर भी खरा उतरने का प्रयास करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि देश में सभी राज्यों में भाजपा विधि प्रकोष्ठों की स्थापना करेगी। इसके लिए न सिर्फ जिला स्तर पर ऐसे प्रकोष्ठ स्थापित किए जाएंगे, बल्कि ब्लॉक स्तर पर जहां-जहां न्यायालय होंगे, वहां पर इस तरह के प्रकोष्ठों की स्थापना करना उनकी प्राथमिकता रहेगी।

नवनियुक्त भाजपा विधि प्रकोष्ठ के राष्ट्रीय प्रभारी ने कहा कि पार्टी के स्तर पर इस तरह प्रकोष्ठों की स्थापना करने के कई उद्देश्य हैं।

पहला यह कि निचले स्तर से लेकर पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं को जोड़ा जाए और इसमें सेवानिवृत्त जजों के अनुभवों का लाभ उठाया जाए।

दूसरा यह कि जहां पर पार्टी सत्तारूढ़ है, वहां पर सरकार की मदद की जाए और जहां पर अन्य दल राज कर रहे हैं, वहां पर व्याप्त खामियों को जनहित याचिकाओं या अन्य माध्यमों से सामने लाना है।

शिमला. प्रदेश भाजपा प्रभारी रहे एवं नवनियुक्त राष्ट्रीय विधि प्रकोष्ठ के प्रभारी सतपाल जैन ने कहा कि अगर पार्टी कार्यकर्ता एकजुट रहते हैं तो कांग्रेस में दम नहीं है कि भाजपा को सत्ता से बाहर कर सके। शनिवार को प्रभारी पद पर रहते हुए अंतिम बार पत्रकारों से बात करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि इस समय पार्टी की एकजुटता महत्वपूर्ण है और प्रदेश को कलराज मिश्र के रूप में एक अनुभवी नेता मिला है।

उन्होंने प्रदेश में अपने तीन साल के कार्यकाल को उपलब्धियों भरा बताया और कहा कि सबके सहयोग से पार्टी ने प्रदेश में विधानसभा चुनाव जीता। इसके बाद लोकसभा का उप चुनाव व फिर लोकसभा के आम चुनाव में जीत हासिल की। जैन ने कहा कि पार्टी ने जो लीगल सेल का दायित्व सौंपा है,उसे निष्ठापूर्वक निभाउंगा।

ऐसी योजना है कि राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर सेवानिवृत्त न्यायाधीशों को लीगल सैल से जोड़ने का प्रयास किया जाएगा ताकि जनहित के मामलों का निराकरण किया जा सके। नई जिम्मेदारी के तहत पूरे देश में काम करने का अवसर मिलेगा। ...

BJP to have legal cells in all states

Shimla, Jul 24 (PTI) BJP would constitute legal cells in all states to raise issues of public interests and expand its base among legal fraternity, Satya Pal Jain, convenor of the party's legal cell, said today.

Jain, who was in-charge of BJP organisational affairs for HP, told mediapersons that he would involve a larger number of lawyers and other people from legal fraternity with the organisation.

He alleged CBI has become a political tool of the government and said BJP would not hesitate to launch a nationwide agitation if the government "did not stop this trend.

Jain urges Centre to resolve inter-state disputes

Shimla, July 3: Chairman of the National Legal Cell of the BJP, Satya Pal Jain, today urged the Centre to convene a meeting of northern states, including Punjab, Himachal, Haryana and Chandigarh to resolve inter-state disputes amicably.

Addressing a press conference here today, Jain, who is also in charge of the BJP in Himachal, said the only way such disputes between neighbouring states could be resolved was through dialogue. “Unfortunately, the Congress-led UPA regime has exhibited a very callous and rather indifferent attitude towards the matter,” he added.

Jain said it was the duty of the central government to step in and resolve such disputes.

“By convening a meeting of all chief ministers, automatically all political parties would be represented and disputes could be settled across the table,” he suggested.

He said the neighbouring states were opposed to each other on several issues such as extension of industrial package to Himachal, water sharing, royalty and now the latest issue of Haryana seeking a separate high court.

“Tension has been brewing between the neighbouring states. Hence, it is only appropriate that the Centre steps in to resolve such issues,” he said. ...
