Chandigarh “Cast your vote with an eye on the future of the country, of our children and the environment. Ensure that those who have not been true to their promises are punished,” said Uttarakhand Chief Minister Maj Gen BC Khandoori while addressing a gathering at Sector 29 on Sunday. Jain also led a padyatra in Bhaskar Colony, Sector 25, and in the area around Valmiki Mandir in Daddu Majra colony.
Late in the evening, former minister in the Vajpayee government I D Swami, former Haryana minister Ram Bilas Sharma, former Haryana BJP President Ratan Lal Kataria and former Punjab Vidhan Sabha deputy speaker Bir Devinder Singh addressed a public meeting in Sector 49.
