BJP, SAD (B), CVM form alliance

Chandigarh, October 31: To take on the ruling Congress party in the forthcoming Municipal Corporation elections, three political parties- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shrimonai Akali Dal (Badal) and Chandigarh Vikas Manch (CVM)- have joined hands. The newly-formed alliance said it will win 22 of the total 26 seats.
   The announcement about the formation of the alliance was made in a press conference held at the BJP office. The alliance leaders alleged that the Congress has failed in fulfilling promises it made during the last elections.
