Himachal: 12 parliamentary secretaries quit after ruling, Chief Minister says will file appeal in Supreme Court

SHIMLA, AUGUST 18: In a significant ruling, the Himachal Pradesh High Court today quashed the appointment of 12 chief parliamentary secretaries and parliamentary secretaries. Declaring the appointments illegal and unconstitutional, the court said their continuance in office was impermissible under the law.
The 12 secretaries resigned from their office soon afterwards and also returned their official cars. ...
