CHANDIGARH, Dec 16 — The Central Government's decision to treat the employees transferred by the Chandigarh Administration to the Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh (MCC) on deputation has been welcomed by various employees unions.
A press note of the Joint Action Committee of the Municipal Corporation Employees and Workers lauded the efforts of the local MP, Satya Pal Jain, and the Adviser to the Chandigarh Administrator, Mr Jagdish Sagar.
The Municipal Corporation Employees Union (Engineering Wing) and the Sweepers Union have also hailed the decision.
